What Mattered Then, 2024

In this project, I address the realizations of growing up and transitioning into a harsher, less sheltered state of mind. As we age, we are forced to be exposed to the dangers of the natural world, meaning our actions and words matter more than we were as children. This installation portrays what it feels like for children to have the real world slowly poke its way into childhood.
